Karen, Part time Veterinary Assistant

Karen grew up in Taxco de Alarcón Guerrero, Mexico. Her dad and herself took care of several animals during their time in Mexico, including three parrots, two turtles, two rottweilers and several fishes. Since the age of three, she knew she wanted to help as many animals as possible. She moved to Ottawa 4 years ago and graduated high school in 2018. Currently, she is at Carleton University studying Biology with the purpose of graduating with a Master's Degree in biology and continue her studies to become a veterinarian. In 2017, Karen started as a CO-OP student here at Montreal Road Animal Hospital and became an official employee three years ago.
